Fat Loss System – What Is Important In Your Fat Loss System?

by Chris on March 9, 2010

The most important part of your fat loss system should be body composition. The idea of pure “weight loss” is crazy. Instead you should focus on losing fat, while adding muscle in order to look your best. Women will have more toned arms and lean bodies, and men will have ripped lean muscle, that’s what we all want, right? Of course it is…

So this idea of “losing a lot of weight in a short amount of time” is not the right frame of mind. You should focus on transforming your body with the most fat loss and the most muscle gain as possible. In order to build muscle, you are going to have to do some kind of resistance training, but the kind I’m focusing on and the kind I recommend most people who want to look good do is highly intense, or HEAVY weight resistance training.

Lower reps, in the 5-7 reps range, where you can make 5 on your own, but barely hit 6 and basically miss on 6 and a half. This kind of lifting, when done on compound movements like:

  • Squats (#1 overall exercise ever created, PERIOD, no arguments)
  • Deadlifts
  • Bench Presses
  • Military and shoulder presses
  • Pull-Ups and Barbell Rows

And various other compound exercises. So, skip the “bicep curls, except for at the end of your workout and do only 6 reps with a heavy weight, for 2 sets maximum. You should go to failure and not be able to get the last rep dispite your greatest effort. This is training with intensity. I love this kind of training because it allows me to go about my fat loss system strategically and quickly, without having to lift for extended periods (too long) time. Instead I give my muscles a reason to grow, based on the overload placed through lifting a heavy weight… Then my body goes into “restoration” of muscle, this should take 1 week per bodypart, or for some programs, like Fat Burning Furnace… It’s 1 set taken to failure 2-3 times per week spiking your metabolism into high gear.

Combine this kind of intense training with a healthy overall lifestyle where you move as much as possible and incorporate some kind of intense cardio once or twice per week you can see major changes in your body in as little as 12 weeks. Rob Poulos, the creator of Fat Burning Furnace lost an impressive 42 lbs of lard in just a couple of weeks following this type of training. I’m gaining weight (muscle) while burning off fat like a burning pig… it’s great to see your body change and get an increase in both fat burn and muscle growth in the same program!

I highly recommend anyone who is struggling to lose weight or gain muscle to eat clean, train with heavy weights to failure with compound movements 2-3 times per week and do 1-2 sessions of highly intense cardio, such as interval training.

Eat 6 clean meals per day using supplements if you can’t cook that many times per day (which most people can’t) and you’ll have a fat loss system that is guaranteed to work for you long-term. Remember, dieting is crap and fitness is a long term goal, not a “quick fix weight loss goal”… do it for your health, and because you want to look and feel great, not to lose 10 or 15 lbs of “weight” by cheating…

I recommend you take a look at Fat Burning Furnace right now to learn more about Rob Poulos amazing success story and complete workout and diet regimen for quick and effective results.
